HAZARD, Ky. (AP) – A Perry County man who police say shot and killed three people in a domestic dispute at a Kentucky college has been indicted on three murder charges.
WYMT-TV in Hazard reported that the indictment was handed down Friday against Dalton Stidham, who has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Police said Stidham killed his former girlfriend and 2 of her family members in the parking lot of Hazard Community and Technical College on Jan. 15.
Police have said that Stidham had a child with 20-year-old Caitlin Cornett and had met in the parking lot to exchange custody of the 2-year-old boy. Cornett and her uncle, 53-year-old Jackie Cornett, were found dead on the scene and her 12-year-old cousin, Taylor Jade Cornett, died after being shot multiple times.
