The Mall at Green Hills has unveiled a new tourism campaign that rewards shoppers who travel more than 50 miles to shop at the mall.
The free program, Visitors Incentive Program, or VIP, features exclusive incentives from 25 top retailers and eateries including Ann Taylor, Brooks Brothers, Kate Spade New York and Tiffany & Company, among others.
“We are really fortunate to get their participation, but they also recognize that we are just a bustling place and want to be able to reward those shoppers as well,” explained mall marketing director Jessica Roberts.
She continued, “We have a lot of shoppers who come in from out of town and put us on their vacation to do list, so what we wanted to do is kind of reward those shoppers for coming here and visiting us.”
To receive a VIP pass, visitors must show their driver's license at the mall Concierge Desk located on the lower level near Nordstrom.
The VIP is also extended to local friends and family hosting visitors from more than 50 miles away when they shop together.
The discounts can be used repeatedly through the end of the year.
