A 67-year-old grandmother pled guilty to charges stemming from the death of her teenage grandson nearly three years ago.

According to WATE-TV, Morristown resident Lillian Collins was arrested in May 2010 after her 13-year-old grandson, Chase Collins died unexpectedly.

A medical examiner determined the teen did not die of natural causes and that he had the prescription drug Ritalin, which he was not prescribed, in his system.

Lillian Collins pled guilty to charges of reckless endangerment and possession of a Schedule II drug with intent to sell or deliver.

She was sentenced to five years in jail, however will only serve 120 days. She will be on probation for the remainder of her sentence.

She was also fined $2,500.
