A man accused of stealing money that was intended for the Tennessee Children's Home will go to prison instead of heading to trial next week.
Daryl Bornstein pled guilty to two counts of theft over $60,000. He and his wife are accused of stealing most of an estate of a Metro firefighter who left nearly $800,000 to the Spring Hill charity.
Bornstein received a 15-year sentence, which he will begin serving on February 11. His wife was sentenced to 360 hours of community service.
