Swedish fashion retailer H&M is opening its first Tennessee store at the Opry Mills Mall in Nashville.
According to the Nashville Business Journal, the city of Nashville issued a $1.45 million building rehab permit for the clothing store, whose cheap, trendy style has earned it the moniker the “IKEA of fashion.”
The new 25,000 square foot store is set to open in the summer.
Many in Nashville have been waiting for H&M to open in Music City and there's even been a Facebook group urging the retailer to open in Nashville.
The Opry Mills location will be the first H&M store in Tennessee, according to the company's Web site.
