Dozens of firefighters responded to a three-alarm fire at a Los Angeles County high school Monday morning.

According to Los Angeles station KABC-TV, the fire sparked just before 2:30 a.m. in the cafeteria at Mountain View High School in El Monte.

Part of the building reportedly collapsed.

The school is not in session in observation of Martin Luther King Day.

The cause was not immediately known.
