The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum will be closing its doors temporarily for construction beginning Tuesday.
More than 200,000 square feet will be added to the venue during the closure, which will continue until for two-and-a-half weeks.
When complete, the addition will connect the museum to the new Omni Hotel adjacent to the new Music City Center convention center.
The Country Music Hall of Fame will reopen on February 7.
The Omni Hotel and Music City Center are scheduled to open later this year.
