A Kansas man was taken into police custody in Bates County, Missouri on five arrest warrants in Nashville charging him with repeatedly raping a 14-year-old singer he was managing.
According to police, Rob Lile traveled to Nashville with the teenage client last Saturday so she could perform in a talent showcase.
While staying with the minor at a Division Street hotel, the 55-year-old is alleged to have pulled a knife and repeatedly raped the teen over a period of hours, after threatening to kill her.
Lile is alleged to have ordered the victim into his car on Sunday morning where she said the molestation continued as they traveled through Nashville and surrounding areas.
Police were contacted after Lile left the teen at the hotel and she called her parents.
Lile was located at a relative's home in Missouri, near the Kansas state line. He was taken into police custody without incident on Monday.
Lile appeared before a Missouri judge on Tuesday where he waived extradition.
He is expected to return to Nashville in the upcoming days.
Police said Lile met the victim last July when he was a judge in a Kansas talent show.
In 1983, police said Lile was convicted of aggravated kidnapping, rape and aggravated sodomy involving a high school girl.
