Clarksville police arrested an Old Hickory man Monday after he was found asleep behind the wheel of his Chevy Silverado pickup truck parked outside the Runyon and Runyon law firm on Main Street.
Randall Faulk, 52, told officers he'd traveled from his home in Davidson County to “go to court,” according to the incident report.
A check of the court system revealed Faulk's license was suspended in 2010 for failing to satisfy a citation.
It was later determined he has not had a valid driver's license since 1987.
Because he is a habitual offender, Faulk was arrested immediately and charged with driving on a revoked or suspended license.
He was booked into the Montgomery County jail on a $5,000 bond.
