Family displaced after fire damages Antioch home

An Antioch family was displaced after a fire destroyed their home early Tuesday morning.

The fire was reported just before 2 a.m. at a home on Volunteer Drive, not far from Una Antioch Pike.

A nearby neighbor contacted 911.

No one was home at the time of the fire. Eight people reportedly lived in the residence.

The home suffered heavy smoke and water damage.

The cause of the fire was not immediately released.
