Loaves and Fishes, a program of Catholic Charities, are providing meals to those in need this holiday season.
On Monday, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., hot meals will be served at the Parish Center of Holy Name Church located at 508 Main Street in east Nashville.
Meals will also be served at the church on Christmas Day from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Volunteers from the community will assist the Loaves and Fishes staff prepare and serve the meals.
Organizers expect between 150 and 200 people to attend each of the serving days.
Loaves and Fishes served around 23,000 meals to those in need over the past year.
Meals are served year around to those in need each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
