NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Veteran offensive coach Tom Moore says he believes the Tennessee Titans have a bright future with coach Mike Munchak and Jake Locker at quarterback.
The Titans are 4-9 heading into Monday night's game with the New York Jets (6-7).
Moore spoke to reporters Saturday for the first time since joining the Titans a couple weeks ago. He says he sees a first-class organization with a big future ahead with Munchak running the team.
Munchak asked Moore about being his offensive coordinator when he was hired in February 2011, but Moore was unable to take the job due to concerns with his knees. Moore, 74, says he's had both knees replaced since then and agreed to consult after Munchak fired coordinator Chris Palmer in November.
