A Christiana man was arrested on Wednesday after it was discovered he stole money from his employer.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation discovered during an investigation that 50-year-old Jerry Alexander stole more than $1,000 from Alley Cassetty Brick and Block.
Authorities said Alexander, who was employed as an operations manager, took the money directly from customers for his own use and voided business transactions.
Alexander is also said to have sold the company's scrap metal and kept the money for personal use.
Alexander was indicted on one count of theft over $1,000. He was booked into the Rutherford County jail and has since been released on a $10,000 bond.
