Officers with the Giles County Sheriff's Department arrested three persons Tuesday after discovering a meth lab at a home on Chapman Hollow Road in Lawrenceburg.
The lab was discovered after officers went to arrest Michael Rutherford on a probation violation stemming from previous meth charge.
In addition to finding meth making materials and evidence methamphetamine had been cooked in the residence at least three times, officers learned that two children, ages 5 and 2, lived in the home.
Rutherford, 31, was charged with child abuse and neglect, intent to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Giles County jail on a $126,750 bond.
Robin White, 41, and Jessica Kennedy, 30, were also arrested and charged with aggravated child abuse and neglect, intent to manufacture methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
They were booked on a $126,000 bond each.
