A long-running holiday tradition is seeking volunteers to help prepare and deliver over 2,000 meals to residents throughout Nashville.
Volunteers are needed for the Annual Keith Searcy Memorial Thanksgiving Dinner.
Gerry Searcy has organized a Thanksgiving Dinner for the elderly and disabled across Nashville since 1987.
Searcy started the project with her son Keith, who has since passed away.
Searcy told Nashville's News 2 his memory lives on with this tradition.
This year, Searcy and her team of volunteers plan to serve approximately 2,000 meals around the Nashville area.
Anyone interested in volunteering can head to Assumption Catholic Church at 1227 Seventh Avenue North at 7 a.m. Thursday, November 22.
