Police are continuing to search for a man who robbed bank tellers at gunpoint on Thursday afternoon in Franklin, Kentucky.
The incident occurred at 2 p.m. at the Citizens First Bank located at 1200 South Main Street, about five miles north of the Tennessee state line.
According to police, the man approached the tellers and demanded the money out of the drawers.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene in a tan Honda with a Tennessee license plate.
Police later discovered the vehicle abandoned nearby and determined it had previously been reported as stolen.
The suspect is described as a white male around five feet, 10 inches tall and 180 pounds. At the time of the crime he was wearing sunglasses, a dark pullover, a black ski mask, blue jeans and blue tennis shoes.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
