A 33-year-old woman faces charges after she allegedly stole pain medication from a Manchester nursing home she previously worked at.
According to a report in the Shelbyville Times Gazette, Brooke Sissom is said to order strong pain medication intended for Manchester Health Care Center patients by giving the patients' names and prescriptions.
Police believe the pills may have been used for personal use and for re-sale.
Sissom was charged with nine counts of obtaining controlled substances by fraud.
She has since been released on a $10,000 bond.
Authorities said they do not believe any patients did without their medication.
Sissom has since been terminated from her position at the nursing home.
