On Tuesday morning, Rascal Flatts held a special performance for patients and their families at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
The acoustic concert was held at 10:30 a.m. at the First Tennessee Theater located on the hospital's second floor.
In 2010, the Nashville hospital named its pediatric surgical suite after the country trio in recognition of the group's on-going dedication and donations.
Each year Vanderbilt Children's Hospital performs more than 12,700 pediatric surgeries.
The new Rascal Flatts Surgery Center also includes a new interventional radiology suite, which is used for challenging surgical procedures such as liver transplants and difficult abdomen and chest infections.
