Police looking for suspects in Dunkin Donuts robbery

Police are looking for the two suspects who robbed the Dunkin Donuts on Briley Parkway just before 10 p.m. on Wednesday.

According to police, two masked suspects entered the store demanding the only employee give them money and to open the safe. The clerk complied and unlocked two of the registers.

While the robbery was in progress, several customers entered the front door prompting the suspects to run out the back with an undetermined amount of cash.

Metro police are looking for two suspects.  Both are black males believed to be in their 20s.  They are about six feet tall and weigh 180 pounds.

One suspect was wearing a green hooded sweatshirt while the other was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

Police said K-9 units attempted to track the suspects, but were unsuccessful.
