Metro police have arrested three teenagers for their involvement in a weekend crime spree.
Police said their investigation against the minors began on Friday night after a 36-year-old woman walked to the south precinct and reported she had been robbed and raped by an armed teen.
The victim said the incident occurred as she sat at a picnic table in Seven Oaks Park. The 16-year-old suspect is alleged to have also sat at the table while he was playing on his cell phone.
A short time later, the victim said the minor pulled out a gun and robbed her of her belongings including the keys to her Isuzu Trooper.
The woman said the teen then forced her inside her vehicle where he raped her before fleeing the scene in the victim's SUV, leaving her at the park.
On Saturday morning, police responded to a call in the 900 block of North Dupont Avenue after a citizen reported that three teens had attempted to steal a gas can to fill up the stolen SUV's gas tank.
Police arrested a 15-year-old suspect, as the other two teens involved fled the scene.
He is charged with one count of aggravated robbery among other offenses.
A short time later police said a 55-year-old woman reported she was confronted by an armed teen at the rear of her home on Roosevelt Avenue.
The woman said the suspect demanded her purse and car keys.
The suspect and an accomplice fled the scene in the victim's Toyota Camry.
The pair are also said to have returned to the victim's home on Saturday night to steal her Chevrolet TrailBlazer.
Police located the stolen Camry and TrailBlazer outside a home at Moorewood Drive and Village Trail on Sunday morning.
A second 15-year-old suspect was taken into police custody and was charged with one count of aggravated robbery.
The final suspect, a 16-year-old was arrested on Monday night at his home Fonnic Drive.
He is charged with two counts of aggravated rape, two counts of robbery-carjacking, aggravated robbery, kidnapping and other offenses.
