Country singer Kellie Pickler announced that she has reached a deal with the Nashville-based record label, Black River Entertainment.
The label is currently home to artists such as Craig Morgan, Sarah Darling and Due West.
Pickler recently told CMT she was drawn to her new label because they “hold similar values” that she does.
“From our initial meeting, it was clear to me how much the entire team respects the artists' musical vision and I'm really looking forward to getting back into the studio to record and release new music to country radio,” she told CMT.
The former American Idol contestant, who is known for her songs such as “Red High Heels” and “The Best Days of Your Life,” left her former label, Sony Music Nashville in June.
Last month, Pickler shaved her head in honor of her friend who is battling breast cancer.
