Former Tennessee star Todd Helton isn't ready to call it a career quite yet.
Colorado Rockies manager Jim Tracy says word is the team's star first baseman plans to play at least one more year.
Helton's season ended 6 weeks ago when he had surgery for a torn labrum in his right hip.
He turned 39 in August, but Tracy said he thinks he can bounce back for another good season. Helton is a lifetime .320 hitter, but batted just .238 in only 69 games this season.
