The driver responsible for a crash in Clarksville last August that claimed the life of a 65-year-old woman has been charged.
The crash occurred on the evening of August 15 on 101st Parkway at Ringgold Road.
Police said Alonso Tovar, 41, attempted to make a left turn onto Ringgold Road but failed to yield and was hit by a Honda Accord driven by 64-year-old Dae Kang.
The Honda continued on and crashed into a stopped Toyota 4Runner and then struck a stop sign.
Kang and his wife, Tae Kang, were transported to Gateway by ambulance where Tae Kang died a short time later. Dae Kang was treated and released.
No one else was injured.
Tovar surrendered himself at the Montgomery County jail Tuesday afternoon.
He was charged with failure to yield and booked on a $500 bond.
