MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) – Police say a 2-year-old Memphis boy who was struck by a car has died.
According to The Commercial Appeal, the incident occurred around 7 p.m. on Saturday.
The child, who has not been identified, was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
Police say the boy ran onto the road between two vehicles and was struck by 1 of them.
The driver of that car, 45-year-old Sonja Morgan, was ticketed for failing to provide proof of insurance.
Police did not say if other charges would be filed.
