A man faces charges after he raped his girlfriend at a Clarksville home late last month.
According to a report in the Leaf Chronicle, Brinton Strickland followed the victim into a bedroom after she arrived at his home on August 26.
The paper reported the 20-year-old man told the woman she was not leaving.
The woman reportedly ran to a neighbor's home after the incident was over. The victim was taken to her father's house where police were notified.
The victim is said to have had bruises on her wrists.
Strickland is charged with rape.
His bond was set at $10,000.
