A domestic assault suspect surrendered after a nearly six-hour police standoff Sunday night in west Nashville.
Officers responded to a duplex located on 24th Avenue North at Morena Street around 6 p.m.
Metro's SWAT team and negotiators were called in to assist after the suspect, Clinton Pearson, became uncooperative with police.
Police said Pearson, 29, stated that he had a gun and refused to come out.
Just before Midnight, six hours later, Pearson exited the duplex and surrendered.
He faces charges of domestic assault, false imprisonment and vandalism for damage done to the interior of the home.
No one was injured.
