Scattered t'storms and showers begin to back off in intensity as we approach sunset just before 8 tonight. We could continue to have a few spotty t'showers well east of I-65 even after sunset due to a cold front pushing through from west to east.
That front leaves a splash of spring for Tuesday and Wednesday: cooler temperatures in the 70s with some cloud cover and a few showers on the Cumberland Plateau expected tomorrow. We could get to the low 80s on Wednesday with a few showers east of I-65.
BUT… Wait until you see the HEAT WAVE headed our way for the Memorial Holiday weekend! The numbers may surprise you tonight on News 2 at 10.
