Rain and strong winds are expected across Middle Tennessee for most of the day Monday.
Wind gusts were reported over 35 miles-per-hour early Monday as showers and thundershowers pushed in from the west.
Rain began making its way into Mid-State counties just before 6 a.m. and is expected to reach eastern counties between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
The storm has weakened considerably since it left the Great Plains where it left severe damage to several cities over the weekend.
A few of the storms may have some gusty winds and hail in eastern Middle Tennessee Monday afternoon.
Temperatures will fall from morning 70s into the 60s and down to low 50s overnight Monday.
Light rain is expected to follow after the main front sweeps through.
