Fire completely destroyed a home and damaged two others Monday morning in east Nashville.
The home on Lillian Street off of South 18th Street caught fire around 3:15 a.m.
Authorities told Nashville's News 2 that the fire was fully involved upon arrival and the roof had collapsed.
Homes on both side of the house and several trees caught fire shortly after.
Officials believe that winds, estimated at 20 miles-per-hour, caused the fire to spread.
The resident said he woke up after hearing a noise, saw the fire and notified the nearby neighbors.
All of the residents were able to exit safely and no injuries were reported.
The home where the blaze originated was completely destroyed. The other homes received exterior damage.
Power lines to one of the homes had to be detached because of damage caused by the fire.
It took about 30 minutes for crews to control the fire.
Sections of Lillian Street and South 18th Street were shutdown for about 90 minutes while crews battled the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
