Metro police detectives are working to identify the gunman who early Tuesday morning robbed the Daily's convenience store located at the intersection Harding Place and Antioch Pike in Antioch.

Police said the suspect entered the store just before 5 a.m. and forced the clerk at gunpoint into an office where the manager was preparing the deposit.

He fled the store with cash on foot toward Antioch Pike.

The suspect is a black male in his late teens or early 20s with a goatee.  He is approximately five feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.

He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and a dark jacket with a white stripe at the time of the holdup.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect from surveillance photos is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
