Franklin police arrested six motorists for driving under the influence over the Easter holiday weekend.
Authorities said of those arrested, 26-year-old Kristen Riggin and 38-year-old Frank Cuevas was taken into custody following crashes.
Riggen was charged with her second DUI after she struck two utility poles on Lewisburg Pike, leaving an undetermined number of residents without power early Saturday morning.
She has since been released on a $5,000 bond.
Cuevas was taken into police custody at a hotel just before Midnight Saturday after he crashed into a moving car in the Dan McGuiness parking lot located on Carothers Parkway.
He is charged with driving without a license and violation of the implied consent law among other charges.
Cuevas remains jailed on a $4,000 bond.
Riggen and Cuevas are scheduled to appear in court next week.
“DUI is one of our most prevalent crimes,” said Chief David Rahinsky. “It is also one of the most preventable. If you drink, don't drive. If you are caught driving impaired in Franklin, you'll be arrested, it's really that simple.”
Among the others arrested include, 45-year-old Adam Gibson, 43-year-old Brett Huntsinger, 21-year-old William Harvery and 18-year-old Dylan Frank.
