Metro police said an observant neighbor helped officers take in a trio in connection to a home burglary late Monday afternoon.
Police said the suspects are believed to have entered the home in the 3000 block of Doge Place around 4:30 p.m.
A witness contacted authorities after seeing the three carrying items from the home.
“The neighbor did an excellent job with giving police information and kept us updated on what they were wearing, vehicle descriptions and direction of flight,” Sergeant Joseph Rosalia said, adding, “Without that neighbor's help and the quick response of the west precinct we were able to get these three burglars in custody.”
Authorities used a helicopter and K9 units in the search.
The identities of the burglars were not immediately released.
