Nashville's News 2 is offering two exciting ways for you to win tickets to a 2012 Olympic Qualifying soccer match! Watch Nashville's News 2 Saturday through next Friday for a chance to win or you can register to win online!
The tournament will determine which teams from the CONCACAF region (North/Central America and Caribbean) advance to the 2012 London Olympic Games. Four teams are playing in first-round action in Nashville (Group A): USA, Canada, El Salvador and Cuba. Four other teams are playing in first-round action in Los Angeles (Group B): Mexico, Honduras, Panama and Trinidad & Tobago
Nashville dates are March 22, 24 and 26. Each night is a doubleheader event—teams in each group play each other once in a round-robin format. The USA schedule is: March 22 vs. Cuba, March 24 vs. Canada, March 26 vs. El Salvador. The top two teams from each group advance to the semifinals in Kansas City March 31. The semifinal winners advance to the 2012 London Olympic Games!
