Country tour bus involved in accident in Ireland

No one was injured when a bus carrying three country artists was involved in an accident Thursday in Ireland.

Whisperin' Bill Anderson, Bob DiPiero and Clint Black were inside a Gibson Bus when a passenger car collided with the rear end of the bus.

The entertainers were on their way to do a live concert at Whelan's in Dublin as part of the CMA Songwriter Series when the accident occurred.

The bus damage was minor. However, it did cause a 30-minute delay in the show's start time.

Thankful that no one was injured in the accident, Bill Anderson made a reference country music fans will appreciate.

“This accident happened when we were all on a Gibson Bus, but it turned out to only be a fender-bender thank goodness,” said Anderson.
