Lynyrd Skynyrd will headline the third annual “Bash on Broadway” New Year's Eve in downtown Nashville.
The much anticipated event will be held on Lower Broadway between First and Fourth avenues beginning at 7 p.m.
Attendees of the event will count down to the New Year as a 15-foot tall red music note is dropped from a 115-foot structure at Midnight.
“We felt the new music note best represented the diversity of talents and genres that call Nashville home,” said Butch Spyridon, President of the Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau.
He continued, “Music City has gained its reputation due to the artists, songwriters, musicians, producers, managers and promoters who call Nashville home. The music note is the best graphic to represent Nashville.”
New country artists Edens Edge, The Farm and pop-rock band Toy are also scheduled to perform.
The event is free to attendees.
