A male suspect got away after robbing a 24-hour Walgreens pharmacy in Hendersonville early Monday morning.
Police said the man was armed when he entered the Walgreens on East Main Street around 12 Midnight although he did not point the gun at any witnesses.
He demanded prescription drugs from the pharmacist and took off with the pills.
Police are unsure whether the suspect left the scene on foot or in a vehicle.
Authorities are planning to review the surveillance video from the store to learn more.
The suspect is described as a white man, five feet, five inches tall, with a medium build.
The investigation is ongoing.
