FRANKLIN, Tenn. – A Franklin man was arrested on drug charges Wednesday morning after authorities executed a search warrant of his home.

SWAT team members entered the home located at 365 Natches Street around 9 a.m. where they discovered the resident, Gene Nevils, was cooking and selling cocaine from his trailer.

Authorities said that Nevils, a convicted felon, was taken into custody and charged with manufacturing and distribution of schedule II narcotics.

Nevils remains in jail on a $500,000 bond.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
