GORDONSVILLE, Tenn. – Police are continuing to search for the man responsible for robbing a bank and threatening two tellers with a hoax bomb device in Smith County on Thursday morning.

According to authorities, the man entered the Green Bank located at 411 Gordonsville Highway around 8:45 a.m.

Police told Nashville's News 2 the man entered the bank and demanded money from two tellers when he threatened the workers with the bomb device.

The suspect received an undisclosed amount of money before he fled the scene in a two-door maroon Pontiac G5.

The robber is described as a white male, five feet, eight inches tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a white cowboy hat and black jacket.
