A traffic stop by Metro police on Sunday night led to the arrest of a man wanted for his involvement in a 2009 home invasion robbery where two women were sexually assaulted.
Police stopped the vehicle which Roderick Crosby was a passenger in was stopped for a license plate violation.
According to authorities, the 25-year-old fled the scene on foot after the vehicle was pulled over, but was captured a short time later.
Crosby, along with two other gunmen are accused of entering an apartment on Bell Road in September 2009, tying up four residents and robbing them at gunpoint.
He is charged with four counts of aggravated kidnapping, three counts of aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary among other charges.
Police said he has previously been charged with DUI and drug possession convictions.
Late last month, officers arrested Kirk Pointer, 42, for his involvement in the 2009 incident.
