NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Nashville Predators returned to Music City on Sunday afternoon, a day after beating the Vancouver Canucks in game five of the second round playoff series.

The Predators beat the Canadian team 4-3 during Saturday night's game in Vancouver.

The players returned to hundreds of anxiously awaiting fans just after 4:30 p.m.

“Absolute exhilaration. We are ready for game six. We are ready to bring it to the Bridgestone Arena,” a Predators' fan said.

The Canucks have won three of the five games of the series, with the Preds walking away with two wins, including Saturday night's.

“Obviously whenever you can go into an opposition's building and win a road game is huge. It's a tough building to play in, in front of their fans. They had a chance to close it out, but we stuck to our game and played hard,” Predators' Center David Legwand said.

Game six is set for Monday night at the Bridgestone Arena.

“Our backs are really against the wall, we have to win or we're going home. So game six, we're going to have to be ready,” Predators Captain Shea Weber told Nashville's News 2.

The puck drops at 7 p.m. Monday.
