NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police arrested two teenagers early Monday morning following a shooting inside a south Nashville nightclub.
The shooting happened at Silverado Dance Hall and Saloon on Murfreesboro Pike around 2 a.m.
Metro police told Nashville's News 2 19-year-old Rodricous Garrett and 18-year-old Christopher Malone went to the club looking for 19-year-old Cristian Mosquera who they argued with at another nightclub on Saturday night.
When they found him, police said Garrett began talking to him in an attempt to create a diversion.
Malone fired four times striking Mosquera twice, once in the right arm and once in the leg.
A 22-year-old woman, who was an innocent bystander, was also shot in the hip.
She was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she was treated and released.
Mosquera drove himself to Southern Hills Medical Center where he was also treated and released.
Security personnel at the club detained several people who had been standing in the area. Witnesses identified Malone as the shooter.
Malone and Garrett were booked into the Metro jail on two counts each of aggravated assault.
They are each being held in lieu of $75,000 bond.
Garrett was sentenced to eight years for a 2007 aggravated robbery conviction.
Malone's arrest history reflects a previous charge for burglary of a motor vehicle.
