SPRING HILL, Tenn. – A new Walmart supercenter is coming to Spring Hill.
According to a report in the Columbia Daily Herald, the store is estimated to open in 2013. An exact date wasn't known.
The location of the store hasn't been confirmed although but there are talks of it resting on the Williamson County side of the city.
“Walmart is excited about the opportunity to serve our loyal customers in Spring Hill, Tenn. and the surrounding areas,” Tice White, senior public affairs manager for Walmart, told the paper. “Currently, we are still in the design and planning phase of the proposed supercenter project in Spring Hill. Once more details are available, we look forward to providing you with an update.”
Walmart supercenters include groceries and an automotive center.
The average store is around 185,000 square feet and employs about 350 associates, according to Walmart's corporate Web site.
