NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police have identified the man responsible for killing a Nashville man last year.
Wincy Leonel Gutierrez, 18, has been charged for his involvement in the death of Ricardo Torres, 23, last February.
Police believe the two men were affiliated with the same Hispanic gang and that the shooting resulted from an argument over a gang issue.
Authorities told Nashville's News 2 that Gutierrez is currently incarcerated in New Mexico for theft and vandalism, though he is expected to return to Nashville soon.
Gutierrez has been charged with criminal homicide and unlawful gun possession.
