NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A Tennessee woman wanted in connection to at least three Nashville area burglaries in which she used an ax to gain entry has been arrested in Kentucky.
Dawn Renee Pickle was arrested in Louisville on three Nashville burglary warrants.
She is suspected of breaking into Hickory Hollow Wines and Liquors on October 27, the Dollar General Store on Hobson Pike on November 4 and Liquor World on Mt. View Road on November 6.
Metro police said Pickle, 39, was unable to gain entry into the first liquor store.
Select liquor was taken from Liquor World on Mt. View Road, police said, while cat food and cat litter was taken from the Dollar General store.
In all three cases, surveillance video shows the suspect using an axe to smash the front glass of the businesses.
Metro detectives found Pickle's getaway van, along with the axe believed to have been used in the burglaries at the Nashville home of a relative.
Authorities said Tuesday the extradition process to return Pickle to Nashville was underway.
