GALLATIN, Tenn. – A castle-like home is being constructed in Sumner County and passersby are beginning to take notice.
Drivers as far away as Hendersonville have spotted the bright white castle sitting on top of a tall hill off Highway 109 in Gallatin.
The castle is Ron and Linda Boyle's new home.
“I've always kind of had the idea I wanted a castle since I was a young child,” Ron Boyle told News 2, adding, “I guess we worked on the drawings for two years before we started construction.”
The 12,000-square-foot castle will have a master suite, two guest suites, a theater and a small library.
Guests will enter the castle through a courtyard.
Linda will have an art studio and Ron, who makes BBQ sauces under the Lynchburg BBQ and Porky's Gourmet BBQ sauce labels, will have a large indoor/outdoor BBQ patio.
The Boyles plan to decorate the house to keep with the castle theme. They hope to move into their castle in the spring.
