NASHVILLE, Tenn. – This week, 41 locally owned restaurants have joined together to offer specially priced meals to showcase their restaurant's unique food and style.
The Blind Pig, located on 12th Avenue South, is just one restaurant that is participating in the week long event, serving three and four course meals for a discounted price.
“It's a great way to get great food at a great price,” restaurant manager Wilson told News 2.
Restaurant goers are not the only ones that benefit from Restaurant Week.
Pete Fisher told News 2 he enjoys eating at places like The Blind Pig, but he likes the idea of supporting the local restaurants helps keep his tax dollars in Nashville.
“It keeps the money here local, doesn't go to a franchise which means that money could go somewhere else, it doesn't necessarily mean it will stay locally,” Fisher said.
Restaurant week continues through Sunday, September 19. Click here for a complete list of participating restaurants and menus.
