CANNON CO., Tenn. – A pedestrian was hit by a car early Thursday morning in Cannon County.
The 64-year-old male victim was hit by a car around 5:30 a.m. on Blues Hill Road.
Authorities told News 2 a car passing may have been too close to the side of the road and struck the pedestrian.
Preliminary reports indicate the man was hit in the side and suffered broken an arm.
The victim was transported by a Life Flight helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
He was last listed in critical condition.
