NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The ramp to Interstate 24 West from Interstate 440 East, southeast of downtown Nashville, was shutdown for several hours Tuesday after a flatbed tractor trailer overturned.
The trailer was rounding the corner onto I-24 West when it flipped on its side at about 11:30 a.m.
All lanes were blocked and drivers rerouted while crews cleaned up the accident.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation reopened the ramp at about 3:30 p.m.
It is not known whether the driver of the tractor trailer was injured.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
