NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Metro police arrested two suspected home burglars when they were caught counting their loot.
Nicholas Capito, 25, and John Head, 31, are presently facing aggravated burglary and stolen property charges in Sumner County after breaking into a home Tuesday in Goodlettsville.
Additional charges in Nashville are anticipated.
Metro police said undercover officers followed Capito and Head into Sumner County Tuesday where they broke into a home on Carol Ann Drive.
The two drove back into Davidson County, where they unloaded the items they had stolen.
The investigation of the two began after they attempted to pawn stolen items.
Capito is convicted felon and was named Metro police's Repeat Offender of the Week in October.
He was wanted then for several vehicle break-ins after having been sentenced to a two-year term in 2007 for auto burglary.
