Maggie grew up in Franklin, Tennessee. She was a member of two state championship soccer teams at Franklin High School prior to sustaining two separate ACL injuries in 1995 and 1996. Maggie became interested in a career in physical therapy after going through the rehabilitation process for these injuries. She graduated in 2000 from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga physical therapy program and has since worked in outpatient orthopedics. Maggie has attended numerous continuing education classes in the Maitland and Mulligan manual therapy techniques and also became certified in McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy of the Spine in 2005. Maggie joined the Summit Bone & Joint team two years ago. She works closely with Dr. LaDouceur, Dr. Cook and Todd Warren, NP to develop specific rehabilitation programs for the conservative treatment of diagnoses such as osteoarthritis, tendonitis, and neck and back pain. Maggie also works with the surgeons in developing effective post-operative treatment for all surgical procedures, including shoulder and knee arthroscopies and total joint replacements.
